Chuck Dinkins
Back in 1986, Chuck was 19, he was working at a Cheapskates in Memphis, TN when he got sponsored by Walker Skateboards. He started winning some Pro/Am contests and eventually become the East Coast Street Champ for the ESA. That transitioned into a full time job at Ocean Ave Distribution (owned by Bruce Walker) and he turned Pro at the Savannah Slamma II in 1998. He got to skate and travel the world as a Pro in the late 80's and early 90's. In the 90's he started a board brand called Soul Trip and has been working in the music business for the last 20+ years. Chuck was inducted into the Florida Skateboard Hall of Fame in 2009 and was appointed President of the Florida Skateboard Hall of Fame in 2023. He still skates for fun and recently has been winning Slalom contests. He is also running the Florida Skateboard Hall of Fame.
Chuck has been wearing an S1 Lifer Helmet for the last 10 years.
"I got an S1 Lifer Helmet about ten years ago and noticed the fit and safety were much better than the helmets I grew up wearing. I have been wearing S1 Lifers ever since. S1 was the first helmet company to make a really good skate helmet."
