"When Spohn Ranch (skatepark designers and builders) asked if I would help design a bowl for the new skatepark they were building in La Quinta I thought to myself, 'Wow,what an opportunity'. The skatepark is ten minutes from my house and I get to design a bowl I would get to skate everyday. With this opportunity, I wanted to make sure the pool was perfect so I called Lance Mountain and threw out some ideas to him to see what he thought and this what we came up with.I believe the final design is something that advanced skaters can shred in and the next generation of skaters can progress in.
