How we make Fusion Foam and Why It is important...

Fusion Foam absorbs and disperses impact energy 5x better than soft foam. Fusion Foam is created by a patented process that blends low, medium and high density foam beads together. The Fusion Foam is soft enough to protect against multiple low force impacts and dense enough to protect against single high impacts. Fusion Foam is then molded into the shape of the S1 Lifer Helmet inner helmet liner.

The S1 Lifer Helmet constructed with Fusion Foam is Certified Multiple Impact (ASTM F 1492) and Certified High Impact (CPSC 1203) 

In a soft foam helmet the impact force passes through the foam into the skull. In a Fusion Foam helmet the force is dissipated and repels so less force affects the brain.
