The S1 Lifer Helmets are constructed with EPS Fusion Foam. Fusion Foam is specially formulated to reduce impact energy to the head and is 5x more protective than non-certified (soft foam) skate helmets. Fusion Foam is carefully blended so it is dense enough to pass the CPSC high impact test & soft enough to the pass the ASTM multiple impact test. Quality control is important at S1. We batch test every production run of S1 Lifer Helmets with a 3rd party lab son we know that we are producing helmets that meet/exceed US, Australian and EU helmet safety standards.
