A big reason why S1 Helmets are a great choice for achieving the perfect fit is the interchangeable liners. While the outer shell is responsible for dispersing impact during a collision, the liner is what ensures your helmet fits snugly and comfortably on your head.
It may sound simple, but S1 offers a variety of liners to meet your specific needs.
S1 Lifer Helmet Sizing Liner
These come standard with your helmet and are key to getting that perfect fit. You can mix and match liners to dial in the right size. They’re compatible with all of our Lifer Helmet shells, including the Standard Lifer, Mini Lifer, and Mega Lifer.
S1 Helmet Wide Terry Cloth Liner
This sewn terry cloth replacement sizing liner for the Lifer Helmet is a great step up in comfort, especially if you sweat a lot. It's more resistant to wear and breakdown compared to the standard Lifer sizing liners. You can easily wash it with cold water and soap, and it follows the same fit guide as the standard liners.
S1 Helmet RAD Liners – Impact-Reducing Sizing Liners
For extreme sports, we aim for extreme protection…so we designed a liner that adds an extra layer of impact absorption. RAD Liners are made to reduce, absorb, and disperse impact energy away from the head. They serve a dual purpose: functioning as the helmet’s sizing liner while also adding an additional layer of impact-reducing foam.
