Australian skateboard phenom, Arisa Trew, won the "Action Sports Person of the Year" award at this year's 2024 Laureus World Sports Awards in Madrid Spain. Why did she win? Probably because she landed a 900 at the Vert Alert and she took Gold Medals at X-Games in Vert and Park.

"Arisa is the most naturally talented skateboarder I have seen in many years." said Christian Hosoi when asked what he thinks about Arisa's skating.
