S1 Helmets | Supporting the Core Shops Program

Lonny Hiramoto, Dan McCashin, Pops Hosoi & Christian Hosoi at the S1 Warehouse & Showroom

Question: What is the “S1 Supporting Core Shops Program”?

Dan McCashin: The Supporting Core Shops Program works like this ...

#1 We never discount S1 Lifer Helmets on www.s1helmets.com

#2 We don't allow shops or websites to discount S1 Lifer Helmets online and strictly enforcing our MAP Policy.

(Chris and I are the owners and founders of S1 Helmets and we are the primary distributor for S1 Helmets in the USA so we know which shops are carrying S1. If you own a shop and you want to become a dealer you can order from the S1 Helmets and Pads Warehouse.)

#3 We give Skate Shops discounts off wholesale + free shipping so they can offer S1 Lifer Helmets for less than online and stoke out their walk-in customers. (This program also applies to Bike Shops, E-Bike Shops, Roller Skate Shops and Scooter Shops)

Sidenote: MAP stands for Minimum Advertised Price. Brands create MAP policies to outline the minimum price that retailers can advertise their products. Brands often set minimum advertised prices at a level that will allow retailers to make a decent profit.
